Just a quick question please folks,

Realistically how many miles will the Bandit 1250 do on a tank ?? I have read MCN reviews that say 150 miles is the tank range (does this include the reserve) or is MCN just talking rubbish ???

People on fuelly seem to be getting about 38mpg.

Tank seems to be 19L.

So that should be about 158miles per tank average.

Stated tank capacity always seems somewhat optimistic.

My 18 L tank when bone dry fits about 16 L.

Gut feeling is 150 would be about right, depends on how you ride of course.

I have a 1250 bandit GT. I usually refuel every 150 miles or so. However I did get 200 miles out of a tank once. I was riding through the Scottish highlands where fuel stations arent very common. I was riding about 90mph along open roads, overtaking cars in the usual biker way. Basically I dont ride economically. It took just over 17 litres to brim my tank after 200 miles of such riding.
