https://www.gentlemansride.com/

Welcome to the 2014 Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, an international event for Classics, café racers, bobbers, trackers, customs, modern classics, classic scooters & undefinable 2/3 wheeled machines.

Something something charity something.

Q: I don’t have a Café Racer, Bobber, classic, retro or custom bike. Can I take part?

A: GTFO, chap.

What a load of old Hipster crap. It was cool back in 2012 but it's just cheesy now.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

As Triumph are sponsors then there shouldn't be an issue. As a Triumph it will be granted modern classics status.

From what I gather the London ride is very, very short and it still takes a very, very long time.

Oh, I was bored of it before hipsters had even heard of it. Sleeping

It is a bit try-hard this year - all artwank photos and terms and conditions. I mention it purely FYI.

What have Monkeybikes done to you to inflict such pain onto them?

I see what you mean, however most bikers i meet are gentlemen no matter what they ride. As for charities? They only want one thing...... They didn't help a relative who was desperate for it so i'm biased i'm afraid, sorry to be negative.

So don't be the donatingest. We can reclaim the event as a ride out, rather than a corporate chugger hipster circle-wank.

So, they're not happy for a distinguished Scotsman and his fancy plaid skirt to attend but would welcome an uncouth greasy wanker on a café racer (the wearing of tweeds does not a gentleman make Wink )???

"They" are we. Events are defined by those who show up.
