My Kirby G4 has a 600W motor, it outperforms the Dyson models that have double the wattage.

Perhaps making them do what they are supposed to do rather than increasing power would be a good start Whistle

So where do I stand with the Vax 2400watt bought last year with a 5 year warranty?
If it goes wrong do I get a like for like or just a punny 900w version replacement?

Another little thing to remember if there ever is a Euro in/out vote.
That said our own government could come up with more stupid legislation.

Yes, but didn't you have to sit through a 16 hour presentation before you could buy it?

Irrelevant. Henry is the only vacuum cleaner you'll ever need and is unaffected at 1200W.

You can still buy spare parts for the one at my work which is over 20 years old now. We wore out the metal plate on the suction head and an o-ring where the hose attaches to the body cracked.

Nope, you think ALL Kirby sales are like that? Get some non "main dealers"
