Well...I sent an enquiry to the Carnell's website regarding the availability of a shop manual for a 2001/2 NSR, and despite my request to be contacted via email, someone called me and it was just as well that I wasn't in the middle of a lecture!

...anyways, he quoted me £90+VAT and then I think he started to give me reasons for NOT owning one...but my phone (battery) died before we could finish the conversation...oh well...

I'm guessing reason number 1 was "then you won't pay us to fix your bike"...

Actually, that's my guess too...but as I said, my battery died before he could say anything else...

If you goto a smaller parts dealer they should be able to get you one at a more reasonable price: I thibk about £50-£60 for a new original factory manual.
