one of the gears in my gearbox is loose, you can lift it up and down. is this normal???? what part is missing if its not supposed to be this loose??? Husqvarna sm 125

I would say there is a spacer missing, in the youtube video it has dogs on the other side of the gear, so don't think it should be floating like that.

check page 28 number 4, https://docs.wavenetworks.us/parts//1998%20WRE-SM%20125.pdf

this is just the first 125sm I came across. what year is it?

Edit, this part doesn't change between the 1998 WRE-SM 125 and the 2007 model WRE-SMS 125.

Part number is 8A00 61261. is likely what you are missing.
