Has anybody ever tried to fit derbi senda 125 Paioli 41mm diameter forks onto a kwak kmx 125 or know what the conversion would consist of e.g if any modifications would be needed..

Im guessing std kmx 125 yokes would not fit on to these forks which is a shame having a powdercoated set but i have yokes with the Paioli forks or would it be easier to just buy a set of kmx 200 forks will these fit straight on without modifications?

Or can anyone advise me how to take the kmx forks apart (older ones without dampener rod) to change fork oil and seals,

I realise you pressurise the top to reveal circlip holding it together does it require taking the allen bolt at the bottom out before doing this? as i couldnt put enough pressure on to push down enough to show the circlip

Someone must have took these forks apart before.Cannot find tutorials, videos etc Rolling Eyes

No, but fitted a complete KDX 250 front end (43mm Kayaba USD fork), this needs a bit of work, but worth it. Either swap the headrace bearings or machine the kdx yoke down to suit the Kmx.

What would need doing to make this modification to it Dave ? Would it be easier and cheaper to try find a pair of kmx 200 forks would they go straight on without modify anything or need 200 yokes and head bearings?
