So i'm looking for a cleaner to shine up the bike. I normally use just traditional WD40 or GT85 but find i am heavy handed with the cloth and sometimes leave a scratch here and there.

Was looking at Rhino Goo Shine and looks pretty good for what it does (claims the makers) and it does not contain any products that are harmful to the bodywork. But has anyone here had any experience of using it and of so what do they think of it?

Personally i'm not a fan of washing the bike with water but it's ok to give it a light sprinkle with a hose as long as it's not pressurised... right?

It won't be the cleaner causing a scratch, it will be some dirt or grit on the cloth. Changing to some overpriced cleaning product won't change that.

WD40 for the metal bits, paraffin possibly for any particularly grimy bits and Mr Sheen for the plastic bits. Then a nice dusting of ACF-50 on the metal bits.
