Going to do the A68 - Darlington to Carter Bar in the morning....
Wondering if there is anywhere people recommend stopping off on the way? Any biker friendly cafes etc that are worth checking out?

Brim your tank is my advice. Very few fuel stops without deviating to a town off the main road. Make sure you're fuelled for the full round trip or Jedburgh.

There's the Camien cafe on the right about 5 miles the English side of the Border.

Does the usual greasy spoon selection and is warm.

Difficult to miss.

It's not that bad, just fill up in Darlo at 99p and again in Jedburgh.
It's a nice ride to go through Hawick and back by Hartside and Alston assuming it's a round trip.

If you aren't going through to Jedburgh, Corbridge is the other place for fuel
