Race cans??

Ok i have been hearing about cans but i'm not sure what they are, i'm guessing they are the can looking type things on the end of the exhaust. Am i wrong?

Yep "cans" are the can looking type things at the end of the exhaust that contain the baffling, and oftern in new stock bikes, a catalitic converter (which is why some end cans seem so huge on new bikes).

Race cans have no baffling, and sound loud and look nice!

... might i say that most are NOT ROAD LEGAL, however that hasn't stopped the majority of us utilising them Great mod to have especially to scare off any chav barry boys in their clapped out Novas. Mind you some biking coppers are knowledgable about these and can ask you questions about you "can" since it is deemed illegal for road use and may ask to see you baffles so keep an eye out. Also, don't ride like a nonce around town with one of these on as you're more than likely to get a pull from plod
