Hello
A few days ago my tdr 125 broke down on the way home, due to running out of fuel or so i think. However since then the bike has been very hard to start, i can only seem to get it going with the choke on. When i turn the choke off, the majority of the time the bike idles low then cuts out but when it does idle ok, when i apply some throttle it bogs out, and on the rare occasion it will idle and throttle fine for a while.

I have checked and cleaned the carb and air filter, and i have a nice blue spark, and have also done a compression test when cold and have got 100psi

I was wondering has anyone got any ideas of what could be causing the problem?

Thanks

You want more than 100psi.

Change your rings.

Probably got some dirt in the tank, now in your carb! Compression is low, but not low enough to stop the bike running reasonably well.

Did you switch onto reserve?

I would strip and clean your car, and blow out all the jets, passages and clean the fuel filter/line if fitted? How does the inside of the tank look?
