Enduro's

Hi there people been a member for a long time 2005 I believe but never posted much and only browsed.

It's finally time to get a enduro bike (off road only) as no bike test.

Now a few questions if I may

Can I use a non road legal bike for enduro's

Did a few TBEC enduro's on a road legal yam 125 when I was 17 is TBEC still going?

Any clubs around? I'm hertfordshire based but can travel.

Anyone out there do it alone unfortunately my mates aren't into it as much as I am which is partly the reason I've not had another one sooner.

Bikes which ones are out there not looking brand new but 2-3k mark

In terms of bikes, try a KTM 200 / 250 / 300 exc if you like two-strokes. Gas Gas do a good equivalent too, EC range.

For something a bit more mellow, try a Honda CRM 250. They have a loyal following, with a torquey engine.

All these bikes can be had for well under 2k. You can find older ones for around the 1k mark quite easily.
