nsr125 clutch problem

Hi Guys,
I have following problem with nsr.
Starts OK ... neutral light on and side stand light on
side stand up and light out
clutch in and down to first ... bike jumps forward and stalls

I replaced the gear oil and still same problem

Tried pushing it up hill to jump start and works ok ... can change gears when riding but pulling in clutch wont disengage gears completely and bike stalls at low speed.

Is this just cable adjustment or something gone bad with clutch.

first check the clutch lever then check cable and adjust .after adjusting the cable , if nothing has changed you will need to dismount the clutch . control the friction disks (5+1) thickness , change the 4 springs (22401KY4900) and eventually the friction disks

There will be a cable tension adjuster on the lever and another one at the other end of the cable.

There should be about 10mm of free-play measured at the end of the clutch lever. Try that first anyway.
And maybe check the chain tension as well just to rule that out.
