I'm getting old. Old and grumpy. I was just looking at some scans of photo's I took back in the mid '90's. One was a little green boat in a tranquil harbour... but I stuck the subject in the top right had third, with almost no sky above and a lot of sea in the fore-ground; 'being bold- breaking the rules'.. Seem to recall I was quite pleased with it twenty years ago.... but now? WHY DID I DO THAT? A couple more of sea breaking up a funnel shape rock formation, looking down, the horizon off by 40 degrees or so, again AHG! Looked great when I took it, now it just makes me sea-sick. SO coming from that, and having the world tilted, turned and twisted this way and that? I'm feeling a bit nauseous.... and old, and old and grumpy.. I might have to have a look at your photo's again tomorrow... they look pretty crisp and tidy and... but right now, the skew orientations are just jarring, I'm afraid. ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!

I did the new site for Olivers Mount https://oliversmountracing.co.uk/ - its been designed to work well if looking through a responsive phone upwards ie Android, Blackberry,Blueberry I-phone etc...
There is a supporters club run by a fantastic biker, that we are linking to. I am sure he would really be interested in any photographs you may have old & new...the photographs at the begin of the thread are really good- especially the guy in his pyjamas!...the supporters site offers a chance to share your youth and maybe start the revival of flares!...watch out for the link on the site...it will arrive within the next month.
I cant remember when the season ends- but next year as new meetings take place they will come "live", enabling you to book online-book camping or just turn up for the day...some exciting times ahead for Olivers Mount and many a fantastic weekend to plan towards...unfortunately Sir Jimmy Saville will no longer be seen "lurking" on Scarborough seafront...we cant have everything! ____________________ Bike trip through Europe! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2yTtFPM7Xc |
