It's like when a guitar magazine subscription offers a free strap, even if you do get it it's always some cheap crap thing that you wouldn't want to use in anger. Not sure I'd want a pair of trousers like that.

MCN is alright, can't imagine paying subs for it. Last 3 times I had it I skimmed it, got annoyed it had made me want bikes I couldn't afford and recycled it.

Still waiting for free gift offered when I took out subscription months ago. They have written a letter of apology stating they haven't enough stock & waiting to get more so good luck if you think you may get free gift before Xmas

Since we're on the topic, MCN would do well to move to magazine format, their current newspaper design makes all the pictures look terrible, kind of a problem when you're presumably trying to create more bike-related GAS in people, i.e. ad revenue.
