|
Hi guys,
I just noticed this morning when doing my quick weekly check over on my cbr125 that the brake light is stuck on. Ive not had a chance to delve into what might cause it yet.
Im endeavoring to learn more by doing things myself with my bike instead of running to the bike shop every time.
I thought id ask if anyone else has had any experience with this?
Cheers! ____________________ Currently Riding: CBR125-R7 (and having too much fun doing it) + Kawasaki Z750 (She's called Clementine for a reason!) |

Before disconnecting them just clean out the gap between the switch and the lever end and see if the problem goes away ____________________ Licence: Nov 2012, Bikes: Suzuki GN125, Moto Guzzi Strada 750, Triumph Sprint ST 955i x 2

Had similar on the lad's CBF and as previously said, it was the micro switch on the front brake lever.
Single screw underneath to remove it, pull off the spade connectors, replace (couple of quid), job done. ____________________ 2002 Rieju RS2-50 (Sold, spares or repair), 2010 Suzuki DR-125SM (Traded for ->), 2007 Honda CBF 600 (Sold), 2010 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 (Briefly, now returned), 2007 Suzuki Intruder 1800m (Even More Briefly, traded in for ->), 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 650 |
