Hi everyone.
Just finished fitting new clutch master and slave cylinders to My FZ750. The clutch action is still pretty light after bleeding and although I can go through all the gears OK with the bike on the paddock stand if I apply the back brake with the clutch lever pulled in (in anything other than neutral) the bike stalls. The bike has been laid up for 5 plus years so hope that maybe a few runs will free things up but on the other hand I'm concerned I may do some damage. Any thoughts?

Hi

Have you done anything to the actual clutch? Freed the plates off or cleaned up the basket?

Personally I would just try to get it in to gear (wheels on the ground - engine running) but if you are worried then stripping the clutch down might be best (easy to do on that engine).

All the best

Keith
