Bugger me I didn't realise it was that time of year again already.

It was a good time last year with free dyno runs for all.

This time I will be able to make it under my own steam and wont have my arm in plaster.

Whos coming then?

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I was planning on going along... though was hoping to get the r6 done, dunno how they will like someone getting a race bike off a trailer for a free dyno Confused.

Stick a plate on the back and pretend its a road bike. Unload the trailer round the corner. Job done. Thumbs Up

Why would they mind you taking a race bike?

At the end of the day I assume they give the free dyno runs for the publicity it generates, if anything having race bikes there may well be good for their business. Quite a lot of shops like to have race bikes on display cause it makes it look like they are more professional about tuning etc.

I think the competion was for 'most powerful' road legal bike.

I don't think the r6 would quite come into that as is, though it's obviously not going to be winning any awards as it's about 400hp at the rear wheel down Smile.

Do you think it would be worth taking the Bros along then? Laughing

If you're taking the trailer can I chuck the cat on?

For those that haven't found it yet.

I could be up for that although I would have to go in the morning as I have an appointment @ 14:30.

Hi

Oooh, might wander along, but then they could just give me my print out from last time I was there.

Or maybe I will bring the Bimota and Charlotte can ride the Bandit.

All the best

Keith

At the M&P free dyno day in Coventry someone turned up and unloaded a Turbo Hayabusa from a trailer, it won...but it didn't. They disqualified it because it hadn't been ridden there, and was just a bit of a pisstake on the 'normal' bikes, prize was a new set of tyres.

Hi

Everyone still up for this? What time are people intending to get there / leave (given that it will be a 2~3 hour journey for us)?

All the best

Keith

I was told it starts at 9.30 and finishes at 5.
As for directions, its about 15 minutes away from me but im crap with directions so you would probably end up in Wales if i was to tell you! Look on the website. I should know where it is cause hubby works round the corner from there! Laughing

I'll be there, Keith, if you and Charlotte are riding down, could go down together, If weather's nice I plan to go down past Stratford kinda way.

Korn do a postcode search on multimap and look where it is, it's not hard to find coming in off the M4, or up from south of Wokingham.

Hope you've got some earplugs for him Jo!
