Hi all, not been here for a while!

This morning my ER6F 2014 failed to start up. I have fuel, bike was in neutral, kickstand up, checked the killswitch etc... You can hear the fuelpump as you turn the key as usual but when you press the ignition nothing. Just makes a high pitched squeek but not even trying to fire up. Bike has not got wet so I can't see it being a spark plug issue.

Ended up getting the bike towed to the garage as its under warranty but I will leave a reply with the outcome once the bike is back. Googled the problem and although its happened a few times before, nobody ever wrote up the outcome!

Got another 6F as a curtsy bike so using it as a good excuse to test out the bikes limits without thrashing mine Twisted Evil

Battery is completely fine, RAC man tested it and said it was fine and even tried to bump start it.

Quick Update!

Ignition fuse had blown (and I assume the brake light one too as that was out.)

Going to pick up the bike tomorrow so hopefully thats all sorted. I think I will keep a pack of fuses at home from now on just in case!

Well, I had my backbox off and it had been raining so I can only guess the metal plates for the brake lights had come in contact with water and blown the fuse or something. Just glad its nothing majorly wrong with the bike!
