Hi

I am going to purchase a bike which has an all singing alarm etc the bike has a charging lead socket so im presuming im going probably need a trickle charger so i don't get a flat battery !!

So many different versions of optimate is the optimate 4 or 6 vastly superior to the optimate 2 ?? Or are there any better chargers out there ?

thanks

I've got Optimate 6.

Never used any other but can't fault the one I've got.

I ride maybe once a fortnight at the moment, sometimes a few times in one week, then not at all for a month or longer.

I'll just plug in the Optimate every other week and leave it on overnight then unplug the next day. Battery is always in faultless condition.

The Optimate 6 is ideal if you want to charge or maintain car batteries as well. If it's just for the bike then an Optimate 4 is perfect. Thumbs Up
