Got a 94 ho da shadow vt600. Went to use yesterdaybut would not start . Keeps making a clicking noise, bought a new battery still making clicking sound which is comi g ffom the starter solenoid. Which is correct yea? Been on charge overnite too..checked all wires ect all good .so what is the problem cohld it be the starter motor .?

Will it bump start?
If so, then yes it's either the starter motor or solenoid.

if it's a continuous clicking, then it's deffo the solenoid Thumbs Up

From what you have described it definitely sounds like a starter motor issue.

Could be the solenoid but could just be a bad earth
'Checked wiring' can mean many things.....
2 minutes with a meter would soon tell you.
Could also be a sticky /worn brush in the starter motor
bad internal motor grounding or dirty commutator

I have managed to take of the starter motor and take apart
found the inside a mess with broken bushes ect
will look for a new motor
