Cbr 600f tail

hi my side fairing are not clipping into the tail on my bike (its black). there seems to be 2 screws which go through the tail holding it in place, but as these fixings where the screws go (on the tail) are broken I cant fix them! I've just put the side fairings on which are fine, and where they are supposed to clip and bolt onto the tail (the tail clips have also snapped) its just sort of loose. so anyway as my bike is black I've put black tape going down where the fairing and tail meet on both sides (if this is making sense?!) I've looked on eBay and I have found a tail piece in black (my colour) but its £142!! this seems so steep for the tiniest bit of plastic? any suggestions on where else to look or what else to do? glue? or... its just a pain in the arse when I want to get the fairings off though if I glue.
