I'm upgrading my Boot SSD to a 512 drive, what is the easiest way of cloning the the drive.

I want to be able to connect the new drive, clone it, switch it out for the boot drive and be in exactly the same position as before but with a bigger drive.

look for a free program call ping (partimage is not ghost)

I have used it in the past to clone drives and it works well. there are full instructions available online

Plug in the new drive, boot to ping cd, tell ping to copy old > new

done.

clonezilla is free - not the nicest interface to be honest, but well respected.
