Not that impressed, will waiting to see it in reality as wifey was getting a "6" regardless as she wants/needs a new phone.

To me it's still catch up, I mean only the 6 Plus as a 1080p screen, that's so 2 years ago.

I wouldn't say that im an Apple fan boy but ive had nothing but iPhones ever since they come out. (Tried android devices but i just don't click with them)

One thing ive learnt is not to read into the rumours and don't expect any massive changes and then theres no disappointment.

The 6+ looks too big to me but think the 6 looks great. My 5 contract has just ended so will more than likely go for the 6 on release day.

Waiting for the 6 to be announced so I could decide what to do.
Seeing as the new features don't really justify the pricetag for me, I'll likey outright buy a iPhone 5S at a reduced price for my Sim only plan.
Will be a welcomed upgrade from my iPhone 4 I got at launch, it's not let me down but It's a little bit too slow for my liking now.
6 years for a phone is good going to me Thumbs Up

Just because it can output 1080p it doesn't mean games will.

BF4 runs at 720p on XB1 and 900p on PS4
COD: Ghosts is 720p on XB1 and 1080p on PS4
Titanfall is 790p
Watchdogs is 790p and only 30fps too

The real performance of these consoles is actually quite poor.

It's completely irrelevant anyway, I'd take Watchdogs at 790p before Angry Birds at 1080p.

Find me a PC/phone that can get as good graphics as the PS4/XBONE for £349.


The graphics on my PC are awesome, far better than even the modern consoles. However it did cost £350 for the Graphics card alone...

That is simply a ridiculous statement by Apple, stating (falsely) that it has a higher resolution than than PS4/XBONE and implying the graphics on it will be better (they won't)

You forget that the XBox One and PS4 use 8-core CPUs from AMD. Also XBox One will use APU (in other words integrated GPU) not a dedicated one

I killed my iphone 5s a while ago and couldn't claim insurance. 4 months into a 24 month contract ( Laughing )

When someone upgrades, please can I have your phone?

I'd be happy with anything from 4. Currently using a very pink loner phone (thanks MCW!)

Apple take an idea that is already established and make it better and make people want it more.

They don't do original, they do improved, and convincing people they need something they didn't know they needed.

Like an iPad. Who really needs an iPad? Well now I've got one I do.

Exceptions to the statistics, but most people who buy most of the products buy them because they are improved in their opinion.


My opinion of it all is that iOS interface is very intuitive to use, device-to-device interaction and synchronisation is so easy.


For what I need and what I want out of devices, particularly in terms of 3rd party apps and software that I need to use, Apple products fit the bill better than the others.

That's not what apple are good at though. They are good at claiming/marketing ideas as their own but in fact they are actually stealing/buying the ideas off someone else.

What they are good at doing is making devices that look pretty, and work seamlessly for the average idiot user. If you actually want to be able to do something even just the tinniest bit outside the box of sending a few messages or checking a few emails then things get very complicated/impossible.

Will it be possible to delete an album in iOS 8, or will I still have to go through song by painful song when iTunes refuses to delete a 500 track audiobook?

Every time I see somebody with a little factoid about it I'm starting to get annoyed too. "It's £900" It's fucking not. £540-790.

Didn't Sony mention 4K support in the future for a PS4? Both consoles are capable of displaying pictures in 4K at least.

Also, the iCloud hack thing wasn't Apple's fault. The passwords were stolen. You'll notice a fingerprint sensor on the phone, so that's that problem solved.

Can't believe I just stuck up for Apple. Off to go kick my own teeth in.
