Insurance policy just matured. One of those 10 year things. Turns out return over that time is about 7.5%.
I feel I could have done better putting it into the bank Crying or Very sad Have I been hard done by Sad Question Anyone know more about this type of 'saving'?

I've always thought this sort of thing is a con, if it's what I think anyway (one of those things where you pay in x amount per week/month then in 10 years time you get a pay out etc.. "might not get all what you put in")

It's stupid, I'd just stick X amount per week into a bank account with a 60 day wait on withdrawing or something, high interest and difficult to draw cash out of for non-important things

I keep meaning to set up one myself, but er... Embarassed all my cash gets spent on living for the now, not in 20 years time Twisted Evil

Property is where the decent money is, if you know how to play the game that is.
