Due to my cbf going pop on me I have to get another bike.(its as good a excuse as I have to my wife)
I saw a high miles(33k) honda cbr repsol that at first look is mint, starts and purrs like a dream and just looks nice.
Going for a second look at it tomorrow but is there anything i should be looking out for?
the bike has been well looked after and has brand new tyres front and rear. It comes with a 2-3 month warranty which is also nice.

Do they hold up well to higher miles? are they moneypits?

I'd not want one past 20k.

Ask how often they change the oil, also ask if they have receipts for the gasket for the engine casing, the oil strainer is behind there. If not cleaned, it can and will lunch something up top, I've killed the cam bearing, google suggests its not uncommon either Thumbs Up

Had many of them, nice little bikes, but VERY little.

check that the temp gauge is working and its running at the right temp. Had one where the thermostat had failed and stuck closed. Warped the head and blew the gasket when the thermostat was replaced.
