I'll start Wink

The A264 between Tunbridge Wells and East Grinstead in Kent.

9 miles of tight, twisty, undulating road, through forests and past some great views. Ridable even in winter, with puddles still formed of ice, not ridden it yet in the summer.

I'm pretty sure there's loads more great roads in kent, just need to find them Smile

Plymouth to Port Isaac in cornwall, all B roads and back roads.

plymouth to tavistock, through to launceston, via camelford, port gavern then to port issaac. On a nice sunny day its got some nice corners, not too fast either so you can enjoy the scenery change from moorland to country to sea views.

Also, Port Isaac is where Doc Martin was filmed, as well as the film Saving Grace, where Doc Martin series originated.

GI-682 in Spain between Tossa de Mar and Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

Brief snippet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2MhNxUEYtQ

Am semi-seriously parking myself at one end of it and doing that road two to four times a day for a week, at some point in the future.

It's a fabulous road, curvy (allegedly 365 corners) and pretty, yet with few decreasing radius corners.

Not many decent roads locally.

If I ride for a few hours then I'm usually seen on A508, A427 then staying longer on A6003 or alternatively A428, then B660 and then longer on B645 - favourite ones in bold text.

If it's only for a quick blast up to an hour then A508 towards Milton Keynes and back.

I love many roads in Wales and Scotland.

I quite often go to the Peak District too.

The A483 South of Newtown, to Buith Wells then the A470 A479 to Abergevenny. It's generally well surfaced, without too many cars (normal or Police!) and flows well. As another option down to Crossgates (coffee shop stop!) on the A483 then either left towards Leominster or right towards Aberystwyth...
The usual rules for riding in the area count though - don't let the petrol get too low, petrol stations aa rent every mile or so!

Best biking road evah! Very Happy

Not much locally in flat, boring Oxfordshire, but a little further afield the A338 from Wantage to about Burbage, A342 from Upavon to the 338, B4437 from just north of Burford to Charlbury (summer, dry weather only), and some of the A44 from Chipping Norton to Moreton-in-Marsh; all pretty good stretches. Summer usually means Wales for me though. Oh, and Fish Hill on the A44 at Broadway, just south of Evesham for a bit of a challenge, assuming you don't get stuck behind some doddering old git or HGV on the way down (one lane); better on the way up (2 lanes).

Wales, Scotland and Yorkshire all have roads that beat any of these by a long way, but I'll leave those to the locals to mention Smile

The A1084 between Caistor and Brigg in Lincs. Nice windy road with a couple of hills thrown in for good measure. Nice pub half way along at Grasby to simmer in the sunshine too. Very Happy

The Severn Bridge is free too on two wheels I think. The roads from there to Abergevveny aren't particularly interesting, but there after make it worth it!

Spectacular road.

That is a nice road, usually busy though (where isn't...).

Any road in Wales that's a mile out of a town/village.
Really enjoyed
A483 (Newton to Llandovery, but I did see several bikes being chased by pan Euro's or K1200's)
A470 (Particularly around Elan Valley)
B4560

A272 between Seven Stars and Loomies
A272 around Langrish
A272 between Petworth and Billingshurst

A285 around Duncton
A286 around Henley

Chickenstrip has pretty much nailed all my favoured bits of road really. Parts of the A44 Evesham-Oxford, And the road out from Worcester to Hereford, along with the A422 from Worcester to Stratford are some of mine. Lots of north Wales sections of road are nice, and bits of Warwickshire and Leicestershire too, often along various sections of the Fosse way.

The road Worcester through Tewksbury and to Cheltenham is ok too from what I remember, and lots of the Cotswolds around Stow etc are nice too.

It's pretty sad fore me to try and re-collect these roads, as I've ridden none of them for at least 5years while I've mostly been away from decent bikes.

p.s In the car I used to like the drive through Warwick, Leamington, southam, Daventry, Towcester etc on the way to the Pod. I would think it'd be fair on a bike too.

For views I'd have to agree with the Borg.
For a road on which you cannot afford to take in the view, the A507 from Baldock to Buntingford.
