Just got back from the hospital and my wrist doesn't need pins in Very Happy They said I should be back on two wheels within 12 weeks! Weather will be shit though but hey who cares!

The GS has gone and next it'll be an RS125 or NSR125, something with half decent brakes!

Congrats mate! Although having pin's in has the potential for more sympathy.

Pah, I had pins in my wrist and was given the all clear to ride again within 7 weeks of the crash (6 weeks from operation). Glad to here you wont need pins (although they do leave a nice neat scar that impresses people) and hopefully you will be riding way before 12 weeks are up Thumbs Up .

Bah, humbug, mine got pinned just last Tuesday... The part I'd broken was the radial styloid, which was displaced. I also got a hairline fracture in the other end of the radius which was negligible; where the side of my elbow hit the road was more painful. 4 weeks from the operation to get the pot off, two weeks to start physio on the elbow. What fun! Rolling Eyes Such a nice summer, uni resits in 5 weeks. Sad
