Hi all, sick of buying phone holders and they're utter shite, anyone recommend one?
Ideally not one that covers a vent.
Phone is an LG G3.
Thanks, Grant

I had this struggle, the answer is... and there was only one for me..

A RAM XGrip - available on Amazon etc.

Aircraft grade alloy, quality craftmanship and made in USA with lifetime warrenty too.

Also, once you have bought the version you want, you can buy add ons to change the way it mounts to the car.

Downside, £50

I've got a phone cover (which I keep on with the general (ab)use my phone gets), which I've stuck some velco on the back of and matching velcro on my dash. Position isn't quite ideal in my van, but does the job well enough and better than cheap phone holders I've had.

Brodit.

Every time. Had them in 3 different cars now with 5 different phones.
When you change phone you just have to buy the phone bracket not the mounting plate. Or when you change car, take it out and just buy a new mounting plate for the new car.

They come in two parts.
You get a mounting plate for your specific car.
Then you get the cradle for your specific phone.

Can get just a cradle. Or one that allows you to plug a charger in. Or one that has a charger built in that you plug into cig lighter. Or a charger that you wire in behind the dashboard. Most cars have 2 or 3 different mounting locations to choose from as well.

Can also be found on eBay.

The van I just bought came with a load of Tetrax stuff dotted around. Works very well.

The Geo range is particularly neat.
