İ live in Turkey and old R range bikes from the 70/80/90s are available and compared to other bikes good value for your Lira!...the reason is because spares are so expensive but i can get them imported having access to the uk availability.

İ am looking about for a slightly bigger for just cruising about the city on..i currently have a 150 Honda which unless thrashed is under powered...i like torque and it doesnt have that!!!..i am hoping people can tell me more about these Bm's! suitability and which models are best!.....i am never going to get to the top speed of my 150 so i dont crave speed!!

I had an R80RT, brilliant bike. Only sold it cos I needed the money to keep racing.

The early Rs (carbed)can all be maintained quite easily by the owner.
It's part of their 'charm'
If you have access to affordable spares and service items
you're pretty safe with an 80/90/100 and if speed isnt an issue
the 50/60/75 will do, though I'd prefer a mid 70's on electric start one
