A biker's been knocked off on London Wall road Sad , near the Museum of London roundabout. Eastbound lanes closed apart form access to the car park if you ask plod nicely. They said he was still alive when they carted him away.

Can't make out what make/model, just a fairly large sports bike.
The seat and end can are about fifteen yards back from the rest of the bike, and I think I could make out what looks like a car or van headlamp unit near the bike.

If I had to make a guess I'd say the bike was shunted hard from behind, smashing off the can, seat, and presumably the rider, with the rest of the bike bounced down the road. The lack of a damaged car and the police photographing everything in sight suggest a hit and run, pretty bloody stupid thing to do with all the cctv in the City.

Not particularly. Unless he's actually deaded or properly potatoed, it's not like Dibble will even bother chasing it up, let alone prosecute for the drive off. It's not like he mashed up a person.

It's a fairly rational gamble to make, especially if you've already justified your actions to yourself. Bloody bikers, always jumping the queue, that's against the law, that is, someone should do something.
