Information in the press out here only mentions cars so I am not sure if this will apply to motorcycles.

I don't understand what the issue is really. I'm all for it. I really hope they would do this in Belgium also so they could raise some desperately needed money to repair our roads. Everyone uses Belgium as a highway to get to other countries so the state of the roads is shit.

This sucks, as I only use Germany to get to other places.

Will make riding to Poland, Austria, Czech Republic extremely slow, or extremely costly.

I remember getting caught out in Italy as they don't discount tolls for bikes like in France. From Menton (France on the border) to Bologna cost over €44

EDIT: actually it doesn't too bad is bikes are at the bottom end of the scale. €10

Spains toll motorways were amazing. They diddn't cost too much and because you had to pay for them they were basicly empty so you could get a shift on & just smash loads of miles.

It would be excellent if they did that over here.

Every vehicle that gets off the ferry or channel train without a UK Reg plate should automatically have a £147 toll put on it. These tolls in europeland are just a method of restricting free movement within the EU.
