Right you orrible lot.

The lovely JodieWodie has recently done her CBT, and is trying to get in some practice, but those nasty car drivers aren't giving her much of a chance, and quite often zoom in for a close up of her arse. While this is all very flattering, it does tend to put one off ones riding a bit, and is therefore frowned upon.

So, on the 28th of next month, I am going to go up to Hinkley in the midlands, and do some outriding for her (cos I'm a hell of a guy), and keep those nasty perverts from looking at her bottom, by being in a position where only I can look at it.

Meeting times and places will be confirmed nearer the time, but you are all welcome to come along, especially other learners who would like some practice.

Now, this invitation is open to anybody who wants to come along, but there are conditions.

No funny, show off stuff. We are going to give some learners the benefit of our experience, and to show them how sexy we look in leather. Any burn outs, wheelies and knee downs can wait until after the ride, if you really can't control yourself for a whole afternoon.

Be patient and supportive. We may travel at under the speed limit, take longer at junctions, there may be some stalling. Who cares? You remember how it was when you learned, don't you?

So, it'll be a relaxed day, hopefully the weather will be fine, and everyone can have a good time.

I'll post more details later when things get ironed out.

Shade
Arranger of rides.

Sounds like a good idea to me, not able to come along myself, but should be a good help for everyone who goes along. Smile

Just before anyone who is planning on going ends up confused, you said on the about going up to the midlands on the 28th, but today is the 28th. Confused So might just be worth clarifying this point so people know when it's planned for. Thumbs Up

Let us know how the day goes, as it should be useful for those who go. Smile

IT sounds like a good idea Shade, it's good to see someone more experienced taking care of the learners instead of ignoring or looking down on them. I won't be coming for several reasons, one, I don't do speed limits, and two, I'm not in the midlands. But, I wish you and your young wards every success Thumbs Up .

It's actually more likely to be seen in here. Being that it's an 'outing' and all.

I can't commit at the moment, but may well come along and say hello. Thumbs Up

Good on ya Shade!

I was lucky in that I had the other half to outride for me whilst I was still in the wobbly stage, and also after passing my test when I went from the 2-stroke 100 to the 4-stroke 250 - some hairy corners in the first few rides!

Will probably not be able to join you Sad as it's a bit far to go in one day, and I'm sure we're probably due to be in some field somewhere, but just want to wish Jodie all the best and say stick with it! It's worth it in the end....... Very Happy

Either that or you could be part of the day, where reference can be made "And this is a good example of how not] to ride, as is being demonstrated in a very enthusiastic way, and wheelies and speeding are not big or clever." Laughing (or not as would probably be a better idea, unless you fancy the chance of showing how to deal with traffic police. Laughing

This could look really good, with a load of bikes escorting 1 125, maybe you should get some guys on big cruisers to come along! but what ever happens it will most likly scare the shit out of a few car drivers, they will respect bikes from then on!
