Happens occasionally and I don't know why, fine most days but I cant get todays commute open as its corrupt or unreadable Crying or Very sad

Which class of SD card do you have? It can sometimes happen if recording was previously stopped abruptly. Have you tried another SD card?

Happened to me when I crashed. The recording stopped at the impact and all file (about 15 minutes of footage) ended up as corrupted file. With some software I could recover most of it up to 5 seconds before impact. So the best part was gone anyway.

It's a 32GB Sansdisk thing, wasn't cheap and no I haven't got another Crying or Very sad

Stopping abruptly eh, like, pressing stop? Thinking
Ran out of battery yesterday but the footage was fine, fully charged to day and used as normal, morning video is corrupt, going to my mates after work is fine, and going home from my mates is corrupt, I don't even!

Only had it happen once. I formatted the card and its been fine since. Might just of been a one off in general rather than fixing it though.

Every time I clear the memory card I use the format option. Could be the partition table is a bit fucked, hence the errors. Also SD cards are prone to errors. Could be the card on its way out.

Is a new card, less than 2 months usage

Every time I connect it my PC is like Scan and fix? Continue without scanning?

So seemingly some sort of partition table bullshit

This is advisable with any digital camera
Always do it in the device if possible
I know (eg) Roadhawk you can't in that case download an SD formatter ideally, such as
https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/
