My mate has sold his suzuki bike to his friend and the kid has never rode a bike before, now i think that is stupid seeing as the bike is.

1.100cc.
2.Has sports exhaust and stuff.
3. It pulls a wheelie by itself (apparently.)

but the thing is the bike isn't road legal and the kid is only 15 next week and he is going on about blasting down the road pulling wheelies, he is the type of biker we dont need the one who will cause accidents( i know some of you blast it an pull wheelies but at least you lot can control your bikes and know their limits.)
Oh and the kid wants to be able to carry pillions on his first day of riding a bike.

That's seriously idiotic... Not only will he be harming himself or whoever will be on the back, but he'll inevitably be putting other road users in grave danger. Best thing i hope he can do is learn a moral lesson... Not trying to curse him or anything of that sort, but a serious accident will make sure this character will have second thoughts about what he's about to do next. He's putting a bad name for us Bikers

I don't think it helps things that we are all camping out by some old dirt track monday night and he is bragging about how he will race my mate if he brings his motocross bike.
Yes the kid is a chav and guess what... he wont wear a helmet because it will un-gel his hair.

He might end up wearing a lampost and then his hair-gelling worries will be over.

Not really a bad first bike, as many people have got onto a 125cc bike as their first bike with no problems.

However at that age he is being stupid, and will either end up badly hurt or in trouble with the police (or worse if he is very unlucky) and will probably end up crashing and hurting other people Sad.

Selling a bike when the buyer is clearly going to be using it 100% illegally is down right daft and very irresponsible and not something that anyone who classes themselves as a good biker should do. Thumbs Down

You could punch them or even just set them and the bike on fire.

If it's a GP100, then with those mods it's probably kicking out 16hp, and with a knackered light weight frame (why it's pulling wheelies so easy) and the rubbish drum brakes they fitted to them, let alone mateys lack of experiance and brains he will crash, and probably within a month. A chap I knew went up the back of a car due to those brakes (and he was a relitivly sensable rider), They are truly shocking Shocked .

I expect even if he does get caught he won't get in that much trouble with todays softly softly approach to kids Sad . I hope when he does crash he only does himself damage, and not any one else innocently standing by.

Doesn't actually make much difference what the bike actually is make and model, as it's still illegal and fairly wrong and no make or model will change that fact. It's his choice, as it's his neck on the line not anyone elses just got to hope he doesn't hurt anyone else. Thumbs Up

It wheelies so is the best learner bike? Depends on what you're wanting to learn Laughing

Yup, sports exhaust and stuff will make bugger all difference so wouldn't be worried about them.

Saying the bike isn't road legal, is that because of the sports exhaust, or because it's not road registered etc?

The death wish bit I would say is because he is only 15 and plans on riding this on the roads, just hope he realises that this isn't perhaps the best thing to be doing, and then decides not to do it.

If he's 15 and not planning on wearing a helmet and taking pillion on the roads then he will be caught very quickly i would imagine.
Hopefully he will get caught before he kills or hurts someone.

Call the cops and get the bike confiscated Thumbs Up

(make sure it's the traffic cops - they have that power, vehicle inspectors can have the bike taken off the road if it's not road legal)

Simple. Job done.

The best I can suggest is that you try to convince him to ride it somewhere off the road, e.g. woods/ permitted private land, that motocross and those style helmets are cooler than his hair, and that pillions will just make it slower.

If he's persuaded into believing any of that, at least he'll be less of a threat to other people.

Apart from the helmet bit, that is, so ignore that until he's 16 and considers a bit of legality.
