My daughter is 26 going on 17. If she loses her job I get the 'I can't pay for my horse (which I actually ended up buying because she couldn't keep up the payments), help me'.
If I say no, sell the thing for dog food I get the cold war treatment from all the women in the family (wifie and both daughters, daughter in law and 2 grand daughters).
If I pay wifies calls me a mug 'and don't expect me to help'. 
Plus she will permanently move back into my house rather than just staying here 3 times a week. 
I can't win. It's all too much. I shall hang myself with a notice around my neck saying 'The children made me do it' 
I won't really, just exploring my inner snowflake entitled side

Just fell for a bloody phishing scam on a text message sending me to login to my eBay account. Fortunately realised just after clicking login. Now I have to change all my passwords! Fortunately my Google account saves all the websites I use that require a password so I can go down the list in the password manager to make sure I don't miss anything out.
BCF was first on my list. Heaven forbid they hack my BCF account!!!

The joys of selling cheap cars on eBay! I've had all of these before (one one similar form or another), not for just selling a cheap car that is a good runner but also for selling scrap for spares/repair too. For some reason anyone in the market for a car under about a grand is clearly a cunt as I have never had a pleasant experience selling anything for scrap or spares/repair. You go out of your way to list all the faults and express it's for SPARES/REPAIR but you always get some retard bidding on it thinking it'll be a nice cheap run-around without actually doing any work to it. Far less agro and fewer idiots on Auto Trader but it's three times the price. eBay should do what Copart do... if you bid and don't pay they charge you £250. If you don't pay the £250 they cancel your membership (which costs £50 per year) and ban you.
EVERY car I sell for spares/repair has to be re-listed at least twice before the winning bidder actually turns up. eBay is full of fucking time-wasters. The best one was a car I sold for spares/repair, blown head gasket. Said they'd turn up around 5-6pm with a low-loader. 9pm came and went with no sign of them, I had to go out to work. Five or six Pakistanis turned up at 11:30pm while I was on the other side of the county, got my wife out of bed banging at the door, woke the kids up who were very young at the time, then proceeded to haggle with her on the doorstep while she was in her dressing gown. Very pushy and very aggressive. She had to let them take it at a further knocked-down price just to get them off the doorstep. I was so fucking angry I cannot say.
This grinds my gears.

Got knocked off my CBR1000F today. Crossing Yalding Bridge, van in front of me spontaneously slams it into reverse and backs into me full pelt. Bike is completely trashed which is so frustrating as I only finished doing it up a few days ago

How does one accidentally shift into reverse in a modern car/van? 
It's not like cars/vans today run a dog-leg gearboxes and even if they did, with such gearbox you still needed to lift or push something to get it into the reverse. The most possible car for accidentally putting it into reverse would be a BMW with very worn gear shifter linkages, where the reverse gear is right ''before'' the 1st gear. From neutral you move the shifter left past the point of resistance and then into first. But still, you would really have to want to do it.
Does BMW make vans now?
