It's her fuckin' problem if she loses her job, not yours, babe.

I know, I know, I'd probably make the same excuses for Anita.
I bet they're about the same age, too.
It's us who are making them "entitled snowflakes", LOL

Although to be fair, Anita is about as far from a snowflake as its possible to be. More Scorpio than Klaus Meine Laughing

My daughter is 26 going on 17. If she loses her job I get the 'I can't pay for my horse (which I actually ended up buying because she couldn't keep up the payments), help me'.

If I say no, sell the thing for dog food I get the cold war treatment from all the women in the family (wifie and both daughters, daughter in law and 2 grand daughters).

If I pay wifies calls me a mug 'and don't expect me to help'. Rolling Eyes

Plus she will permanently move back into my house rather than just staying here 3 times a week. Shocked

I can't win. It's all too much. I shall hang myself with a notice around my neck saying 'The children made me do it' Crying or Very sad

I won't really, just exploring my inner snowflake entitled side Razz

I've never thought Travis was a sock.

He's clearly just a twat. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but he's not funny with it.

Stupid people. I sold an old car this week. People phone up (bearing in mind it's 16 years old) "ARE THERE ANY DENTS SCRAPES OR SCRATCHES ON THE CAR?".

Mate, it's 16 years old, fuck off and annoy someone else.

Then come the texts.

"Lowest for tonight?"
"£300 I'll come now and take it mate"
"Swap for Xbox 360 with 40 games and 2 pads and £50"
"I live 40 miles away, can you bring it over for me to look at?"
"Can u leave insurance on, I can't afford it bro".

These people grind my gears.

Sold now. It was an Old Diesel Volvo V40 2002 I put on for £550. I will just scrap the next cheap car, I can't deal with the drama.

How does one accidentally shift into reverse in a modern car/van? Confused

It's not like cars/vans today run a dog-leg gearboxes and even if they did, with such gearbox you still needed to lift or push something to get it into the reverse. The most possible car for accidentally putting it into reverse would be a BMW with very worn gear shifter linkages, where the reverse gear is right ''before'' the 1st gear. From neutral you move the shifter left past the point of resistance and then into first. But still, you would really have to want to do it.

Does BMW make vans now? Confused

EVERY car I sell for spares/repair has to be re-listed at least twice before the winning bidder actually turns up. eBay is full of fucking time-wasters.

In the last 10(?) years I think I've sold 3 vehicles on ebay: 2 cars and 1 bike (values approx £600/£1000/£3000 IIRC). In every case, the vehicle went to the winning bidder; they pitched up in good time when they said they would, paid the cash with no haggling, and that was that. Really no issues at all. All you hear about is how awful ebay car buyers are but my experience is the reverse. I think being 100% honest and upfront in your listing really helps; they know exactly what they're going to see when they get there; and also there's nothing left for them to haggle over!

Moving into middle lane (lane two for the pedantic) as you pass an on slip to let a car out. The car then boots it alongside you leaving you stuck in the middle lane like a twat. Wankers.
That’s obviously not mentioning the absolute bell ends who insist on sitting in the middle lane(s) for miles on end making a three or four lane M6 into a dual carriageway. Some people only survive because we aren’t allowed to put them out of our misery.

Van man probably thought he had a car length behind him and was attempting a "balls to sitting in this shite" manoeuvre.

Freddyfruitbat, come on, Travis stuffed a badly repaired scrapper into a young couple without mentioning it had previously been written off as that's the type of man he is. I bet most of his sales have followed with:

Mate they all do that.
No no honestly that light on the dash is meant to light up.
The reason why the wheel wobbles at 70 is to tell you your doing the speed limit.
The brakes are squeeling because the 'new' pads are bedding in, it's not metal to metal......honest.
Cambelts been done mate, I've lost the receipt.

Etc etc.

Yeah mate sure. I'm saying previous punter that bought one of your 'special' vehicles recognised you and thought "have a bowl of this you cnut!".
