My car is in the process of breaking down so I am now relegated to just two wheeled vehicles for the moment. I actually need a car to move some big boxes to and from work next week so that might put a spanner in the works.

More money to spend on stuff that I don't really want to pay out for Sad

Cyclists, riding 4 abreast uphill on a narrow winding road. Fucking knobs.

Cyclists were causing havoc on coastal Northumbrian roads today. Some in huge wide gangs, others pacemaking and weaving all over which stopped vehicles passing and then there were the 'green' cyclists. Totally OTT clothing and riding silly designer bikes (looked like something Mary Poppins would ride) and deciding that the best place to cycle is the mainest road there is despite it actually having a dedicated separate cycle path.
Wouldn't surprise me if some cyclists get run over today.

I always thought 'pacemaking' on the public highway was illegal - cyclists here openly have race days and cause chaos with those too.

I'm not anti-cyclist. I just think some consideration for other road users would go a long way. They should also try using those cycle paths because they're there for a reason - other cyclists have died on that road..

Funny you should say that - there was a car with bikes on a rack behind them, which then overtook on the hill Rolling Eyes gets to the top, and they're parked at the top, waiting for the cyclists... Clowns.

Being in sunny Cornwall minus my bike is grinding me a bit today. Seen some lovely roads round here in Highhampton.

On a fairly recent ride I was working my way along a moving queue of about 20 odd cars when I spot the two wnkers
causing it. Two mid 30's ish looking bellends, dressed like they were doing the tour de france but riding at a very
relaxed pace. No good reason for two abreast at all, usually once I get to the front I'll Foxtrot Oscar sharpish and leave
the cagers to suffer their ignorance. But this time I thought some mischief was in order, something about this this day
meant this wasn't overlookable so I pulled up alongside the bike nearest the centre of the road and matched his
18mph (in first gear) and ambled along VERY noisily next to him at his pace effectively becoming the third abreast.

Then I just rode alongside them looking straight forward and pretending not to see the frantic cyclists arm
waving me down the road or hear both of them shouting abuse at me. Earplugs mate... Laughing Maybe they found the
bike a bit loud? Can't possibly have been my road position or pace, after all I just dropped in with them. Laughing
I sat there until the very annoying first gear unbaffled akra finally persuaded the cyclists to alter formation.
Sensing my work here was done, I went back to my usual pace and left the cyclists if a far more polite formation
penned in by a whole lot of cars taking this opportunity to finally get round them.

You deserve a medal. The route they were on is the route I like coming home from work on, I try and do it as fast as I can, has a nice hump back bridge I try and fly the car over, but once you're in the twisty bit going up, there's very few passing places.

Sell it on Facebook and meet them on an Aldi or any other supermarket car park. "All good bro' but batteries empty, forgot to charge it bro'" (slap head for effect). Jobs a good 'un, block on FB as soon as you're able.

Well if you can't tell an iPad from a laptop I'd say that proves you're a liar... Wink
