Why? That compromise is likely to be a matter of personal preference, innit? And that's before you factor in different seating positions of different riders, bikes etc

That's because poorer people have to save up for Christmas, and can't afford to just go out at the last minute and buy whatever.
Rolling Eyes

Plus, they don't have much money so obvs they stay indoors and shag, and therefore have large families. So it gets very expensive, all those tins of Quality Street they feel obliged to buy.

I love a good stereotype, don't you.

Yup. I was there. Another pair of trainers ruined. Laughing Piss wet was an understatement. Looked like I'd been scuba diving in the titanic Ffs.

But how is Hayden/Jayden/Kayden/Rayden gonna get the latest ActionBinaryperson with AK47 and floral dress?

I'm looked down on by some as I have said my children (when I have them...) are not getting anything of value bar general kiddy learning and entertainment stuff until they are at least 10. There is zero reason to spunk £300-400 on a little car they can sit in and outgrow in a year, or a corner kiddy kitchen that they will mistreat and throw up on.

I just see that as a waste, they'll be entertained and they'll always have what they need, but not stuff thats just a big expense and drain on all finances. Laughing

Has anyone else noticed how young people cannot look a person in the eye while they converse? They being so used to dividing their attention between their phone and people.

Driving at the weekend, we had three people in 150 yards all cross the road in front of me without looking because they were so engrossed in their mobile phone screens.

To be fair, I hit two of them because I was tweeting my outrage about it... Smile

Motorway accident.

M6 northbound down to 2 lanes. On the hard shoulder was a Mr Patel and 9 passengers standing by an 01 plate Nissan Micra that was involved in a crash with a white couple.

In the heat today it was unbearable. Some young wigga pumping out drum and bass full blast from his Subaru to add to the annoyance of the situation.

Damaged the thread that the shift lever pivot bolts to so phoned my local shop "No we wouldn't touch that, you'll need to phone xxx."

Ordered a new bracket from eBay for £13 and a pivot bolt for about the same from Honda.

Might put me off the road an extra day, and miss the sunshine, but at least I'll have the satisfaction of sorting it myself. Rolling Eyes
