I couldn't pay by card either. Funny how they accept cards for more or less everything in the Post office. Yet it had to
be nice, lovely untraceable cash, round at the sorting office out the back. Destined for the Xmas party no doubt.

Twas the AGM of the Rifle and Pistol Club tonight and they set the start time for 7.30pm which with them means 7.25pm START not a minute after. I had a dead day at work so decided to close up at 5pm instead of 5.30pm to try and get ahead of the traffic and give me time to get my tea before going, I needed to be on the way from home at 6.40pm to stand any chance of getting there on time.

SO - CUE CLASSIC POTTERIES GRIDLOCK and I arrive home at 6pm which is the time I would normally get home. No chance of getting anything to eat and getting there - night abandoned.

Resignation day +2

Received an email fobbing me off. So I wrote a long snot-a-gram in reply on my phone. Big mistake.

I removed all the 'To' field people, and all the 'CC's and added only members of my team so that I can get it checked before it's seen by the person I was aiming at. I sent it.

I then found that Android email seems to have a bug where it re-adds all the CC's and one of them was a distribution list on which the person in question resides.

Luckily, reading it back it doesn't seem that bad, and I'm leaving now anyway so what the heck. Actually... I'm not sure it ground my gears as much as oiled them!! Smile

I love it when a random woman makes me an offer like that.

(Or am I reading that signal wrong?)

Better at cockle picking... Shocked

For me, today. Well, every day. The human species.

For the brief 5 minute walk from the station to your place of work, can you please get off your fucking phones?! Look where you're going and stop being dumb cunts!

The worst bit is you try to navigate the spacktards, but because they have less intelligence than algae, the randomly change direction.

I really, really need a hammer to beat them out of the way!

Oh, and "Alfie's Army". Cunt off your dirty chav scum.

Autoglass replaced the cracked windscreen on my car yesterday.
The new screen looked good, however I subsequently find that the washer jets which had been perfect were completely miss aligned so I had to dick about adjusting them. They still need a bit of fine tuning and they are a real pain adjust.
Something about the wipers didn't seem quite right either, but I couldn't quite figure it out until about an hour ago when I realised that the passenger side wiper wasn't clearing right. On closer inspection the rubber insert is about 3" short of the end of the holder. wtf?
I changed out the rubbers a couple of months ago and I know they were spot on. I bought a whole load of wiper refills so I have some in the garage and can swap a new one straight in, but wtf!
Why has the Autoglass monkey cut my wiper short and fckd with the washer aim?

Going out to find the car battery flat. 10.2 volts. No warning it was headed that way, but I knew all these short trips to the shops would take their toll. Put it on charge, but not much hope if it got down to that level.

On the plus side, discovered the Kriega bags are great for picking up the weekly groceries on the bike. Just got to be careful I don't do the same thing to the bike battery.

Sudden gusty cross-wind, heavy rain and then a tremendous hail-storm on an exposed section of dual carriageway had me worried I'd be blown off the side of the road. Normally I guide/wrestle the bike through it and then there's the "Jimbo, you crazy bastard!" chuckle when I get home, but on this occasion it didn't seem cool at all.

Visibility remained acceptable throughout.

Yesterday, 8.45am and I was coming off my estate when I noticed that the road that I was going to was filled with Police cars, ambulances and a fire engine (later found out that this was due to a car crash). 10 minute detour the wrong way meant I was back on track, but due to a car crash on the A1, traffic was at a standstill, and what is normally a 5 min stretch of road took me 35 mins to clear.

This morning, set off to work (early again), and 10 mins into my trip, the main road into Doncaster was closed due to a 2 car smash. I ended up having to go across Rotherham and get on the M18. Cars really need to stop crashing.

Oh, and colleagues who can't do the job (THE ONLY JOB) that they have, meaning triple the work for me whilst putting their fuckups right.

Went to the post office to collect my S9+ bundle pack for my new phone also from 02.

They sent me the S9+ bundle pack but like the thick cunts they are they've also sent me the standard S9 bundle pack as well and no doubt my bank statement is going to reflect this. So now I've got to fuck about sending the S9 bundle pack back.

Sent this back last Monday using their return postage label and my own jiffy bag as the one they sent never turned up.

Cancelled the DD and paid the difference for the monthly bill.

Apprently they have still not received it or some fuckwit has not done his job properly and thurs 02 are now holding me to ransom for £59.99 or my phone is getting cut off.

Zero fvcks given then and guess what.....
