If you're on about your focus st then you might actually have a brain problem.

but i do agree - pisses me off when people park close when i have made a genuine attempt to park far away so as to not get my car scratched by car doors.

I've got a Ford Focus. 1.8. Makes a half decent shopping car. Slow as fuck though, especially for a 1.8.

There must be some contaminant on it even though I've rubbed it down it's crazing as it dries. Done it 3 times now.

Fuck . Evil or Very Mad It's driving me crazy.

I'm going to guess the old paint was very old, probably cellulose.

Some modern paint chemistry is not compatible unless you put a suitable block coat between. Think you need to experiment in a small area.

Really? I thought old paint was a pretty good base as long as it was solid.

Maybe I do need to investigate alternatives.

Still bloody annoying.

Phooey is correct!
Had the same thing with an old petrol tank I was repainting, I eventually had to take it down to bare metal, even the slightest trace of old paint was reacting with the primer.
Time to get the wire wheel out I'm afraid!

So it's an overblown shopping car. Put a twin-turbo V8 in it if you like. It's still a Ford Focus Laughing

Don't be that guy. I park up against a wall at my local Tesco (the bit on the other side is for trolleys). Because it's a bit difficult to get into no one uses it, it's like having a reserved spot Cool

Is that the same ST's that I nip past on the motorway as if they are standing still by any chance?

Last one I came across I gave him a chance on the motorway, he lasted all of 2 seconds before I passed him like he was standing still.... and I didn't even need to get out of 4th Middle Finger Mr. Green Middle Finger

It's an old ST for sure - the photo posted of the steering wheel shows it to be crumbling and decomposing!

Other then his mum of course.

I moaned a few weeks ago about my dental appointment being cancelled and rescheduled, I am now supposed to be seeing the hygienist next week as my new dentist claims she can't do the thing I asked for originally (removing a couple of stains).

I've been given the runaround by them cancelling my appointments, dentists who don't think they are my dentist but are happy to try to talk me into expensive treatments and then magically reinstating my cancelled appointments when I ask to see someone else. Getting real fed up with the bullshit excuses but there currently aren't any other dentists in the area taking NHS patients on.

I'm considering just going private from now on.

I'm going to go against the grain and say my old Focus was the best handling car I ever had.
Not the quickest, not the best looking inside or out but it cornered like a roller skate.
I've course I could never afford a decent motor years ago so I'm comparing the Focus to some pretty bloody bland cars.
