It was a random security check at the self scan checkout. Personally I think it was bollocks because I double check everything I scan.
I think it was something they'd done to fill their quota.

I often get them when she drags me to Waitrose, apparently it's random but it's funny I seem to always get the random ones and manage to usually be the scruffiest looking person there. No correlation my arse.

Excuse me Sir, I need to do a quality control check.

You mean you want to check I haven't been stealing.

Oh no Sir, it's purely for our own data.

You lying git.

The first 3 lines were said between me and checker in Asda. I thought the fourth one but didn't say it.

I've somehow managed to lightly sprain my thumb.
And it hurrrrrrrts *cries*
It's my doing-everything thumb, as I am right handed.
Luckily, still capable of rolling spliffs.

Cos from the insco's point of view, people who park their cars in places where they are likely to be clobbered by other vehicles makes them a higher risk than people who don't, innnit.

More like, from the insco's point of view, you have to have it, so any excuse to put a premium up and get more £££ is a good one.

The pictures were crazy, it looked like the guy didn't even try and stop. Hi as an angle I would think.

Sorry to harp on about this one but I've been thinking more about this nightmare of insurance.

If my car/bike was smashed whilst parked up, say it was worth only £200. I'd be tempted to say screw it and say nothing to insurance, especially if doing so puts premiums up £200 or so.

Am I right in thinking this is not allowed, in that it is a legal requirement to inform your insurance company of any accident regardless of fault?

Seems a bit unfair.

Lying on grass verge by the roadside in Reading, pretty sure the Enfields reg/rec gave up and battery has boiled. Gel batteries don't half let out some sticky nasty shit.

Fuel injection fuse keeps blowing, at the roadside I'd narrowed it down to not being the battery or the fuel pump.

I'll be packing a multimeter, matches, and a hammer for my short walk over to the garage Laughing

Having done a check on the Internet and found that my local PC World has the printer in stock, and travelled to collect one...
'Hi, I'd like that printer please' pointing at said item on the shelf
'Sorry, we don't have any - but we can get you one by 5pm tomorrow by DPL'
'So which do you have in then please' pointing to the 20 or more on the shelf
'None.'
'So why are these on display then?'
'So people can see them.'
'What's the point? You've got none to sell?'
'But people want to see them that buy them on the Internet.'
'Well I'll buy that one then.'
'We can't sell that one. It'd leave us without any.'
What the actual fuck? If you can get them easily for tomorrow why not double your normal daily order once then you could keep some in the shop for walk in punters? Call it, oh, I don't know, stock like a normal shop? Or are Curry's so strapped for cash they need my £40 upfront to be able to order it? It's a bloody crappy printer not a custom built Ferrari for crying out loud!

You remindd me. PC World's attempts at selling "warranties" or "support packages" absolutely royally grind my gears.

Going into a shop and buying something is so last year.

You need a mask for that now.

Buying of the internet is woke, and bad for the environment.
