I had to have a BPSS pass for work because I'd forgotten to get vetted a few years back. Almost as embarrassing as walking round with a green pass of shame (on my particular establishment)

I'm RNR (Royal Naval Reserve for you people who don't like acronyms (me)). Back in the 80's & 90's I was sent on a bunch of liaison and training courses with other MN officers. We were told it was top secret. Had to sign whatever offering up our first born as compensation if we were to divulge what we were about to hear. etc.

So I can't tell you actually what they were but they were nothing to do with nuclear power however if it had been I wouldn't have been able to tell you anyway

Edited to add, I'm not very good at keeping secrets after an evening with Captain Morgan's finest.

I found myself missing Longshanks last night.

When he was here, I almost never cuddled him, at risk of getting cat bogies in my face, and when he sneezed, I felt myself sub-consciously wincing if I heard a bogie land somewhere but I didn't see where.

But now I miss him.
