The car's leaking something, maybe diesel.

Only a slight drip ad fortunately its due a service but still a pain.

I'd want to know where it's leaking diesel from. It might be a light drip when it's not running, but most lines are under pressure, unless it's sucking from the tank in which case it would be pulling air in and not running right.

Power steering hoses tend to run a thin oil.

My mechanic is pretty good at tracking down leaks - he's had to find a few over the years for me Smile

Could be power steering fluid. It had a new rack fitted a few months ago.

MASSIVE headcold.
Ridiculously runny nose and paroxysmal sneezing.

Not hayfever.
Had to come home from work early.
Frankly, I am not H.P.

The wife. Honestly I am SO annoyed right now.

She was using the car this afternoon and there was a slight bit of sleet in Birmingham, and I mean slight. On go the windscreen wipers on full-speed-setting and the wiperblade on the nearside jumps it's metal clip and the clip is now scraping the windscreen in a nice arc perma damaging the windscreen. What any normal person would have done is pull over on the hard shoulder of the M6 and fix it or just not use the wipers, but NO she lets it scratch away damaging the windscreen on the car I paid for.

There is no way it's polishing out. Dippy cow, I am so annoyed. New wiper blades as well (usual shop) but I've never had an issue. She just shrugged as if she couldn't care less. When she's out tonight at Bingo I'm going to wash her white M&S pullover with my red socks on a hot wash, that'll teach her. Honestly it's wrecked the screen.

It's to be expected when you have more 'uncles' ploughing your mam than you have fingers and toes... And we know inbred fucks like him have 6 per limb.

Have you checked brake fluid level?
Could be power steering pressure switch. Internally they can break and leak. As usual the part is cheap but it's probably hard to get at.

Cost of windshield replacement vs a decent pair of wipers (less than £20).

I just had to replace the windscreen on my Sprinter because stone chips and MOT. Was a very reasonable 180quid all inclusive.
Guy did it on my driveway. But yeah, cheap wiper blades aren't worth the bother imo. My wife is the same when it comes to wipers
with regard to over using them, she wears a pair out a year. I change mine about once every 3 years assuming I keep the vehicle
that long. If I used poundland specials I suspect they wouldn't take much of my wifes over use at all before terminal failure.

I just think they think cars are indestructible objects with pretty flashing lights. Mine called me from pole dancing a couple of
weeks ago reporting a 'bad light had come on' in the Swift. After a short interrogation I ascertained it was the TPS warning lamp.
I suggested to her that she stop on the way home and 'put some air in the tyres, 36 front and 33 rear' to which she
replied 'That's a boy job'. Brick Wall The next day I had to pop to the shops for some shopping and had planned to get to
the air pump on the way back home. When I got back to the car the OSR tyre was completely flat. Because there was
a bastard great screw stuck in it. Doh! Luckily the Swift has no spare but does have an onboard compressor so I was
able to get some air back in it and get it to a tyre place for a repair. This did however rob me of an afternoon ride that day
because it took me all afternoon to find somewhere local that could repair it straight away. Mecanical sympathy means
nothing to women. Put some brake calipers in the oven to bake some paint on them though and watch them spit fire about that!!!

Not a wind up, I'll photograph the damage tomorrow so you can see for yourself.

It's a perfect arc that's deeper than the tread on the front tyres. I just can't get my hat on.

I meant buying the wiper from the pound shop not the damage to the wind screen>

She's performing in public with 19 other girls in a few days. Unfortunately the show is completely sold out. The things I
have to sit through for my mrs. I like watching her but I can take or leave the rest tbh.
