I have no gears to grind today.
Once again I am nauseatingly chirpy.
Cool

Mine is from Monday, but I am still irritated by it.

Mrs is using the car, and I can't risk taking the bike as everywhere is snow and ice. Call the brother to ask if I can get a lift in to work (we work at the same place). Yes, he says, be at mine for 6.30am. I can't, says I. The reason I need a lift is because I can't get anywhere.
He refuses to come and pick me up (about 4 miles away). I ended up having to get a Taxi to his, to get a lift in to work.

The brother in law called me up to apologise that he couldn't pick me up, because he finished work 30 minutes after I started, but my own brother was (imo) a little bell end. Had it been the other way around, I would have made the trip...

Having no willpower. I bought 2 Terry's chocolate oranges, £1 each Asda. The initial plan was to have a small amount per day, and enjoying them as a treat. What actually happened is I've wolfed both down with 2 cans of diet coke whilst watching Eastenders on catch-up. Feeling disgusted but I can't say for sure it's never going to happen again.

Have you tried weaning yourself off the hard stuff by switching to Jaffa cakes? You can even enjoy them socially.

"Wats lowest m8 4 cash tonight?". Facebook, you advertise something, put a reasonable price and no ono on the advert and "Wats lowest m8 4 cash tonight?".

Then, someone who has a similar item advertises it on MY post.

I don't mine people ask for a bit off you expect it and for a genuine cash buyer I'm willing to knock a bit off.

The ones that get me are the proper cheeky fucker, say your bikes advertised at 5k, they message asking if you'll take 2k for it. I dont even reply to morons like that.

I bet that once in a blue moon someone is desperate enough to accept, so they keep trying on the off chance.

Possibly, but if you were desperate and after a quick sale you'd punt it off to we buy any car or something along those lines of offer it for sale at the bottom end of what its worth.

I got in to work this morning to the news that the gents loos have been leaking and flooded out all over the carpets. Everything smelled of piss and wet dog. Also the number of people who don’t pay any attention to where they tread is disappointing, consequently there were a few pissy footprints leading from the wet patch.

3" nails ricocheting off the wood you're trying to fire them into with a big bastard nail gun. Happens occasionally but this time the bastard nail went into the end of my right ring finger. Stung like fuck but luckily didn't go through, was enough to bruise the other side of the finger though. Hey ho...

You didn't have to you chose to because you're a beta fag.

Its a byproduct of having friends, not a problem you're ever likely to have.

Trespass "waterproof" jackets. I call bullshit.

Bought it specifically as it is a well known brand and categorically stated "waterproof". Not resistant. Not Showerproof. Waterproof!

On my hour commute yesterday it pelted down unexpectedly and my phone was in my "waterproof" coat pocket.

Long story short, my phone is now dead and I have a very nice packet of brown water where I used to have some nice cigars.
