Not as upset as I was to find out he lived 200 yards from the house I'd just bought...

Me eyes.

Had a routine eye test.

Asked to do a field of vision test, performed poorly. Have to go back for another test and if it's as bad, be 'referred'. Given the DVLAs impeccable track record of fucking over people, hard. I suspect I'll be waving bye bye to my driving license before the end of 2018.

Don't panic, Mr Mainwaring.
I suffered that same indignity, ended up getting sent to Moorfields, and had a series of similar tests only to be told that I wasn't developing glaucoma or ocular high BP, I just had thicker corneas than expected.

So I'm outside doing my weekly bike maintenance and what I do hear out of all things, the fucking ice cream man buzzing round the estate.

Mate my bollocks have nearly disappeared up into my body because it's that cold, the sun might be out but it's fucking February - Christmas adverts coming on in September piss me off enough but this.

Maybe I'm just getting old..

i've had some of those, and yet I only need reading glasses, I think that at the end of all the tests my eyes are so tired, I just fail. they rebook for a field vision test and its is fine. Though, I am on a "special list" to get tested every three months.

mother-in-law failed twice in a row and sent to see a specialist, who basically said "meh" and "your fine" after a some tests.

My eyes are a complete mess from the day I was born. I've been in and out of Moorfields more times than can remember. Every time is the same; "sorry Mr LustyLew, the damage is done, nothing we can do."

It's all just very frustrating. I'd gladly go deaf for 20/20 vision. Trying to explain to people why you don't like meeting in dim lit bars/clubs is usually simplified to "I'm a blind cunt".

Urgh! I blame my mother! I was so desperate to get out of her I nearly lynched myself on the umbilical cord 10 weeks early! Laughing

It's a good game to be in. 25k profit in four months is my current record.

Or you could be stuck with Ste as a neighbour for the next 20 years.

Can you not teach them some manners whilst they are there?

"Gently" reinforcing certain rules that they must obey even if only whilst they are in your house.
