Summer gear, eh?

Sure leathers are grand and all but I've always found the weight of the one leather jacket I own versus the lightness and better vented RST Pro Series Adventure II jacket makes me go for textile nearly all year round beside the one or two rides to make my purchase that bit more worthwhile.

I've never overly understood the appeal of leather beside the "crash better" argument that seems to apply to textiles of the yesteryear that were behind in their armour capabilities.

Probably just need something like the RST Pro range that has the capability to remove thermal and then waterproof layer providing well vented light jacket when all opened.

Best one I've ever purchased thus far, even if a little fiddly when climate varies.

A stone hit my windscreen this morning and I now have a couple of small star cracks in it.

I could see it heading towards me like in slow motion.
I hoped it was a big bug but then "crack".

Sainsburys Free From Bread - Never the 1st choice for dinner but the best of a bad bunch now seems to be baked for them by genius because it now displays all the same characteristics i.e crumbling to its constituant parts as soon as removed from the wrapper.

So bad today that I have had to eat a sandwich with a knife and fork because there was no chance of any of it being picked up with fingers.

Millennials. Mid-20s guy in the office with a technical degree and a job in problem solving was asking me how UPS deliveries work, what will happen if he's not in, and what an Access Point is. They sent him links to everything, but apparently not a spoon to eat them with.

work today

partly because I was there and its nice outside

secondly I get frustrated by the way things are done

eg;- three pallets of stock had to be handballed upstairs to where the stock is located when the only time it gets used we have to pick it back up carry it back to where the pallets came in and put it in the back of the van

seems daft to me when we have space right by the door that the van parks outside for this stuff

also

having to move stock out the way to put pallets on racking when in a few days we have to do i all again to get the stock out again

all i ever get is we have always done it like this

obviously there is no better way then

Morrisons.

My cupboards are bare and I'm in work on long days and have training to do this week. Thought I'd do a big shop, rather than pick up a few things that'll fit into my backpack on the bike. So I jumped the buss down (£4.30 return for a 6 bus stop ride Shocked )

Anyway, bought a lot of groceries, placed them on the conveyor belt and asked for four 10p carrier bags. "We haven't got any" came the reply. " we've only got the 50p ones left" To which I responded that I ain't paying £2 for four carrier bags.

The girl on the other till said I could have a cardboard box for free. Laughing

"I'm afraid I'll have to leave it but, thanks all the same." And promptly walked out of the store, minus the shopping.

Htf does a multinational supermarket run out of f'in carrier bags?

Same thing happened in Asda about a year ago but, at least they were willing to sell the more expensive bags at 10p, which is fair enough considering it's down to their f up.

It's the american model for fuel sales. It will be commonplace here too sooner or later because we always do what they do eventually.

How exactly do you know how much fuel you need to buy if you want to brim the tank?

Bellends.

Again the american model requires you to overestimate how much you will buy and return to the kiosk for your refund
if paying cash or the unused money putting back on your card.

Source- I have driven right across the USA in a big thirsty car buying fuel a great many times. Took some getting used to
doing it their way,

Exactly, I had no idea, I was only topping up the tank because I don't have enough for a full day.

Actually this has nothing to do with the american model, the reason is because of the cunts on stolen scooters.

Well I'd agree, if scooters held more than a few quids worth of juice but I doubt the net loss to the petroleum giants
is even noticeable bearing in mind how much of what we pay goes to gov.uk Pikeys driving vans with false plates
that have a huge 500litre tank in the back connected to the filler neck probably do their takings more damage than baklaff.
