I own a speedfight 2 LC 2002 WRC edition and it's been sitting in the garage while I've been respraying the panels and wasting hours of work making it look good.

I took it for a quick drive the other day and when I came home i couldn't start it again.

I've checked the plug and replaced it, It has a spark.

The plugs wet and cylinder has good compression

    Carb isn't blocked

New battery has been put in

I literally can't think what else it could be, it's weird how the night i refueled it it stops working.

They do have an issue with immobilizers but apparently with an immobilizer it will start but will restrict the revs, my ped refuses to start, the electric start makes a sound and the kick moves the piston but the engine isn't kicking in.

I've been told it could be the immobilizer and I'm looking at £200 to replace the CDI unit on a £300 moped.

If anyone could help it would mean a lot, cheers.

If it is the CDI you don' need to spend £200
