Is it normal for a bikes idle speed to drastically reduce and fluctuate more when on the side stand?
I am now adjusting to a real bike and its a world of new engine noises I have to work out.
The idle had been fluctuating a lot since I got it anyway, so I had it in with a mechanic today to drain and clean the carbs, will find out what the bill is when I pickup.
(not got my Haynes yet so don't want to fuck anything up)
I figured if it's not normal for an idle drop on the sidestand, then it could be a fuelling issue?
However I don't know if the CB carbs are anything like the Mikuni CG carb. ____________________ The above post is most likely nonsensical.

As I see it, warm the bike up, sit on it, set the idle, don't be paranoid. ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ
