Only mental person would ever sit in it and went racing it. Neutral

28.5L engine, could be around 2500 Nm of torque and that sure is a lot to handle on those skinny tyres, well on any tyres. Smile

It's a spring loaded starter rather than a hand crank. Handle turns some gears, gears wind up a massive spring. When its wound up, the other guy presses a button to let it unwind all its energy in one go.

Sounds like some sort of epic stress-relief device Laughing

Seeing the way it jiggles on idle, I'm wondering if it will smooth out when on the movie or continue in the same jerky fashion all the way till top speed Shocked

Probably run a little smoother if it had downpipes and an exhaust attached

Watching the engine literally fire up and all the sparks, like glimpsing into hell. That thing is the idea of a madman. Utterly mental. They have something similar at Beaulieu, I forget what it's called, bright red sheet metal style chassis with a massive engine strapped into it...

EDIT: Ah yes, it's the Sunbeam 1000
