Could anyone tell me the approx range from a full tank on a [2013] SV650? (50/50 highway/urban)

And/or... would I safely get 160 miles out of it (75% highway / 25% urban) or is that pushing it?

And/or... roughly how many miles do you get when the fuel light comes on?

(Got a couple of trips to do on it)

How long is a piece of string?

Fuel range mainly depends on your right wrist, on my 06 sv650s I had 100 fun miles to the light, I also had 160 sensible miles to the light chaperoning some 125's on a charity ride. Bank on 130 with average riding.

My 01 SV never got more than 90 miles per tank.

Then again I felt I had to wring its neck everywhere and anywhere. It also leaked fuel had a stuck carb float and I used the throttle like an on off switch.

16 litre tank.

130 ish to flashing light, can continue to ride till it goes solid light @ about 160 miles.. Have been as far as 180 but that was running on fumes.

This is on a 01 curvy so with fuel injection and double spark I reckon you'd get a fraction more on a newer pointy

My K4 SV always gets no less than 120 miles to a tank & that's still filling up before the fuel light comes on. Tried & tested on two BCF Euro Jollys Very Happy
I imagine it would be closer to 150 miles.

Although ... it was restricted Rolling Eyes
Not had the time/weather to ride much unrestricted to see the difference.

K8 gets about 130 to a tank commuting (10 mins motorway 20 urban)
If out A roads easily see 160 before light flashes
