One piece camshaft carriers/caps?

Just something I've wondered about today, do any bike engines out there use a one piece camshaft carrier/cap or ladder frame cam caps either for each cam or a single carrier for both inlet and exhaust cams?

I've got car engine thoughts in my head today, and I could not think of any bikes that use cam bearing ladders instead of individual camshaft carrier caps?

If this is the case is it because of shim under bucket and the need to be able to get cams out quickly/easily, as opposed to cams rarely needing to come out in car motors due to hydraulic tappets often being used?

Some do, though many will be split left and right because of a central chain tunnel. I recall owning a bike that had very fragile-looking cam cap assemblies. You had to be careful to slacken each of the bolts a turn at a time to be sure not to snap the assembly. Can't remember what bike it was though.
